Green Kompass - About Us
What's the story behind the name?
Green Kompass was originally intended to be a brand that leads you (hence the word Kompass with a 'K') to do what you love and find your next adventure and play a new sport, promoting a better lifestyle to everyone. We decided to focus on Pickleball since it is a fun and active sport that everyone can play (yes, everyone)!
Where, when and why was it founded?
Green Kompass was founded in 2025, in Canada. More specifically, we are a family business that originated in Toronto. Our founder, Dan, has always had a passion for playing sports and trying out new hobbies. Being an avid tennis player, pickleball was his next logical sport to try, and he fell in love with the sport quickly after playing a few times. Pickleball is an incredible sport that can be very competitive, but can also be a great activity for entry-level players who never tried a paddle/racquet-related sport before; our goal is to spread this incredible hobby to everyone, striving for a better and more active lifestyle.

What level are your paddles designed for?
Our paddles are primarily designed for intermediate players, offering a balanced combination of control, spin, and power. They are also suitable for beginners looking to invest in a high-quality paddle and for advanced players who prefer a control-focused feel.
What materials are used in your paddles?

Are your paddles approved for tournament play?
Yes. Our paddles are manufactured to meet USA Pickleball (USAP) specifications and are approved for tournament and league play.
What is the weight of your paddles?
Most of our paddles fall within the midweight range (approximately 7.9–8.2 oz), which provides a great balance between maneuverability and power.
What grip size do your paddles have?
Our standard grip size is 4.25 inches, which fits the majority of players. Overgrips can be added if you prefer a thicker handle.
How do I choose the right paddle for me?
If you value control, consistency, and spin, our carbon fiber paddles are a great choice. If you’re unsure, feel free to contact us with your playing style and experience level—we’re happy to help.
The paddle has Colossians 3:17 on it; what does that mean?
We are an organization that firmly believes that everything we do (including playing pickleball) should be done joyfully and with thankfulness to Christ who's given us the opportunity to do so. From the Bible, Colossians 3:17 says "And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him."

What types of pickleball bags do you offer?
We offer pickleball-specific bags designed to carry paddles, balls, shoes, water bottles, and accessories comfortably and securely.
How many paddles fit in your bags?
Depending on the model, our bags can hold up to 2 paddles, along with additional compartments for shoes, clothing, and personal items.
Are your bags suitable for travel?
Yes. Our bags are designed for daily play, tournaments, and travel, with durable and waterproof materials, padded compartments, and ergonomic straps.
Are the bags water-resistant?
Our bags are made with water-resistant materials to protect your gear from light rain and moisture. We recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to heavy rain.

Where do you ship?
We currently ship across Canada. US and International shipping options may be added in the future.
How long does shipping take?
Orders are typically processed within 1–5 business days. Delivery times vary by location but usually range from 3–10 business days within Canada.
How much does shipping cost?
Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on your location and order size. Free shipping may be available depending on the total value of your cart and during promotions.
